Chant Sheets

Three new trainees arrived.

During morning chanting, the one sitting near to me put his chant sheets on the floor. Chant sheets are printouts of sacred scriptures that we chant each morning. I went over and said not to put chant sheets on the floor.

A short moment later, the chant leader, Zopa, came over to me and said: “Soryu told me to tell you that we don’t overwhelm our guests with our rules like that any more.”
