The rules are just made up

“The rules here are just made up, everyone knows that.” Somebody had asked Soryu about the rules at the Monastic Academy. That there are so many and that the person that raised the question feels judged by them. Soryu continued with his reply, “You can make up the rules to the degree that you are free from them. But before we are free, as we progress on the path we become like children. And so we need strong boundaries, to keep us safe.”
