Your Life is Precious
At one time I was on an email thread with Forall who was out on the West Coast giving talks and meeting with tech leaders about AI safety. He had been invited to one of those hacker houses in the Bay Area and discussed many profound topics. He was preparing to send a detailed follow-up message which thanked them for the evening and offered some more reflections.
Forall asked me to review and edit the message ASAP, which a staff member notified me of while I was leading a weekend meditation retreat at MAPLE. At 10:59pm, I shared my feedback.
Forall responded: “You need to rest, friend. Your practice and life are precious.”
